Patience Growing Short With Pakistan - News, Sports, Jobs
Once again Pakistani officials have been caught tipping Islamic terrorists off about U.S. knowledge concerning the militants' bases in Pakistan. The same thing happened last week.
How many "strikes" does it take before Islamabad is sent back to the dugout as part of the U.S.-led team against terrorism?
After hearing of the latest outrage, U.S. Sen. John McCain, pointing out this country sends billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan, noted, "Taxpayers have a right to have a return on that."
Indeed we do. But in addition to flushing our money down a rathole, we are allowing some in Pakistan to aid terrorists who are killing Americans - and want to kill more.
Americans' patience with that is growing short.
