Prosecutors have charged a 41-year-old man with stalking Caroline Kennedy's daughter for two years, showering her with flowers, balloons and intimate messages referring to himself as her "hubby”.

A creepy drifter's "dream" became a nightmare for Caroline Kennedy's daughter.

Naeem Ahmed, 41 -- accused of stalking 20-year-old Tatiana Schlossberg and harassing her with twisted e-mails and letters signed "Your Hubby" -- said yesterday that he's been "in love" and writing to the raven-haired Yale student for "five or six years."

Ahmed, a naturalized citizen who moved to the United States from Pakistan in 2003, was arrested on misdemeanor stalking and aggravated-harassment charges on Dec. 8.

Ahmed, also accused of stalking another New York woman, admitted he regularly sent messages to Tatiana, adding, "I always address her as my wife, and say, 'I'm your loving husband.' "
