The rapidly deteriorating situation in the Islamic Republic of pakistan has triggered a near exodus of its citizens out of the country, with people willing to do all it takes to escape the increasingly virulent Islamist state, often going to the extent of hiding their nationality by calling themselves Indians or identifying themselves as merely "South Asians".
